Social media agencies

Many clients, many accounts, one approval chain — run every brand from its own workspace without losing the audit trail.

Who this is for

Agencies and freelancers managing several brands, each with its own accounts, tone and sign-off chain.

Agency work fails in the handovers: a post goes to the wrong client account, a client sees something unapproved, or the person who can approve is offline. The fix is structural — separate the workspaces, name the approvers, and make the calendar the single place anyone can check.

Honest caveats

  • X/Twitter connects on the Agency plan only — Starter and Professional workspaces cannot connect it.
  • Seats are 5, 10 or 25 by plan; the 10-day trial runs with Starter’s 5 seats.
  • There is no CSV or PDF report export. Analytics are read in the dashboard or via the API.

The workflow, step by step

  1. 01Write

One draft per client, adapted per network

Write the idea once in the composer. Per-network variants handle character ceilings and media rules — video-only on YouTube, TikTok and Vimeo, single-image on Dribbble and Pinterest, 280 characters on X — so a rejection is caught in the editor rather than at 6pm on a Friday.

  2. 02Schedule

A calendar the client can be shown

Month, week and list views sit over the same scheduled posts, so a client review call is a screen share rather than a spreadsheet. Queue slots let you fill a week in one sitting; drag a post and the time follows it.

  3. 03Approve

    Named sign-off before anything ships

Approval runs none, loose or strict — set workspace-wide or per group. Owners and admins invite members into one of five roles (owner, admin, editor, approver, viewer), so an intern can draft and only a named approver can release. Self-approval and lock-on-approval are toggles, not code changes.

  4. 04Publish

    Unattended publishing to 15 networks

A scheduler ticks every 60 seconds and posts at the chosen time through each network’s official API. Failures land on the post with the network’s own error, and the inbox lists failed posts so a missed publish is a task, not a surprise.

  5. 05Measure

Per-post numbers read from each network

Impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks and video views are captured per post and per platform for 90 days after publishing. A metric a network never reported shows as “not measured” rather than a zero, so a client report never quietly invents a good month.
