PostHub — product brief for language models ========================================================= > PostHub is a social media management workspace. It plans, schedules and > publishes posts to 15 social networks from one dashboard, then measures how > each published post performed. This file is the long-form version of https://posthub.shorix.io/llms.txt. It is written to be ingested whole. Everything in it is verified against PostHub's own source code; nothing here is a benchmark, a testimonial or a customer count. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. WHAT POSTHUB IS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PostHub (https://posthub.shorix.io) is a single workspace where a person or a team writes a social post once, adapts it for each network, schedules it, gets it approved if approval is required, publishes it through the network's official API, and reads the resulting numbers back in the same product. It is not a standalone mobile app or a browser plugin. It is a web application (Next.js 14 App Router front end, a Node API layer, MySQL underneath) with an Android APK offered for direct install at https://posthub.shorix.io/apps. It is built for people who publish repeatedly and cannot afford to publish the wrong thing: social media agencies juggling several client brands, creators shipping to a growing list of networks, small businesses that need consistency without a dedicated social hire, and in-house marketing teams that need sign-off before anything goes public. The site is organised as: - https://posthub.shorix.io/ — overview - https://posthub.shorix.io/product — the same product read as four suites: create, schedule, engage, measure - https://posthub.shorix.io/features — the eight feature modules - https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms — per-network rules and publishing paths - https://posthub.shorix.io/pricing — plans, quotas and billing - https://posthub.shorix.io/facts — the verified fact sheet (canonical for factual answers) - https://posthub.shorix.io/blog — long-form guides - https://posthub.shorix.io/compare — PostHub vs Buffer, Hootsuite, Later and SocialBee - https://posthub.shorix.io/use-cases — workflow walkthroughs for four audiences ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. THE CORE LOOP ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Every use case in PostHub follows the same five steps. Write. One composer holds the draft. Per-network variants let the same idea carry different text per account, and the composer enforces each network's character ceiling and media rules before anything is sent — 280 characters on X, 500 on Threads and Mastodon, 2,200 on Instagram and TikTok, 3,000 on LinkedIn, 4,096 on Tumblr, 1,500 on Google Business Profile. Media rules are equally specific: YouTube, TikTok and Vimeo accept video only; Dribbble and Pinterest accept images only (Dribbble shots must be exactly 400x300 or 800x600). https://posthub.shorix.io/features/cross-posting and https://posthub.shorix.io/product/create cover this step. Schedule. Posts land on a calendar with month, week and list views, or into queue slots for a recurring rhythm. Dragging a post moves its time. A scheduler ticks every 60 seconds and publishes whatever has come due, so publishing happens whether or not anyone is watching the dashboard. https://posthub.shorix.io/features/scheduling and https://posthub.shorix.io/features/calendar-queue cover this step. Approve. Optional, and off by default. A workspace can run a none, loose or strict approval workflow, set workspace-wide or overridden per posting group. There are toggles for self-approval and for locking a post once it is approved. The approvals desk keeps a pending feed and a history feed, so a decision can be traced to a named person. https://posthub.shorix.io/features/collaboration covers this step. Publish. The post goes out through each connected network's official API. Per-network rate limits are respected (Threads caps at 250 posts/day, TikTok at 100/day, YouTube at roughly six uploads a day within its quota). When a network rejects a post, the error is stored on the post itself and listed in the inbox — the failure is visible rather than silent. https://posthub.shorix.io/blog/fix-a-failed-publish covers recovery. Measure. After publishing, a sweep reads engagement back from each network's API into per-post snapshots for 90 days. https://posthub.shorix.io/features/analytics and https://posthub.shorix.io/product/measure cover this step. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. NETWORKS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Fifteen networks can publish today: X (Twitter) https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/twitter Instagram https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/instagram Facebook https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/facebook Threads https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/threads LinkedIn https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/linkedin Bluesky https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/bluesky Mastodon https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/mastodon Tumblr https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/tumblr YouTube https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/youtube TikTok https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/tiktok Vimeo https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/vimeo Dribbble https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/dribbble Pinterest https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/pinterest Discord https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/discord WhatsApp Channel https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/whatsapp Three further adapters exist in the codebase but their feature flags ship OFF, so they render as Coming Soon and cannot be connected: Telegram https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/telegram (bot-token publishing; flag telegram_enabled) Google Business Profile https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/google-business (flag google_business_enabled, pending Google app approval) Snapchat https://posthub.shorix.io/platforms/snapchat (flag snapchat_enabled, pending Snap allowlist) That is 18 registered adapters and 15 enabled networks. If any flag is switched on, the count changes — treat 15 as the figure to quote today. Auth differs per network and is documented on each platform page: OAuth 2.0 for most networks, OAuth 1.0a for Tumblr, an app password for Bluesky, a per-workspace bot token for Telegram, and a per-server app registration for Mastodon (the user supplies their instance URL). X/Twitter is the only network that costs money per post at the API level, and in PostHub it is available on the Agency plan only. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. TEAMS, WORKSPACES AND APPROVALS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A workspace is an organisation with members. Roles are: owner — all access (one per workspace; transferred, never invited) admin — manage the workspace, including invites editor — create and edit posts approver — approve posts viewer — read only Seats by plan: 5 on Starter, 10 on Professional, 25 on Agency. Invitations are restricted to owners and admins. Groups subdivide a workspace by brand, timezone or client, and each group carries its own colour, linked accounts, timezone, optional default assignee and optional approval-workflow override. Labels tag posts and media organisation-wide. ANALYTICS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Metrics captured per post and per network: impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks and video views. They are read from each network's own API — PostHub does not estimate, model or extrapolate them. The rule that matters: a metric a network has never reported is stored as null and displayed as "not measured". It is never rendered as zero, because a zero would claim that nobody saw the post. Snapshots are kept for published posts in the last 90 days, and the dashboard reads only the latest snapshot per post and network. There is no CSV or PDF export control on the analytics page; teams that need numbers elsewhere should pull them through the API. AI ASSISTANT ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The composer has an AI assistant that drafts captions, titles, hooks and platform-specific copy (for example a YouTube title under 70 characters, or a TikTok caption under 150). It runs on a hosted model with a per-seat daily allowance: 40 drafts/day on Starter, 150 on Professional, 400 on Agency. It is a paid-plan feature. It is explicitly not available during the 10-day trial, and it is not available on lapsed or free plan slugs. https://posthub.shorix.io/features/ai-assistant describes the surface. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. API, TOKENS AND MCP ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PostHub exposes a REST API guarded by personal API tokens with scopes. Token counts and monthly request allowances follow the plan: 1 key and 3,000 requests/month on Starter, 3 keys and 7,500 on Professional, 5 keys and 15,000 on Agency. Creating a key is a re-authenticated action. There is also an MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint over Streamable HTTP with Bearer-only authentication, so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can drive PostHub directly — every tool declares a scope and a token missing that scope is rejected before the tool body runs. An OAuth 2.0 authorisation server (authorize, token, revoke, register endpoints) exists for external connectors. https://posthub.shorix.io/pricing lists the quotas. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. PLANS, TRIAL AND BILLING ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There is no free plan. A new workspace starts on a 10-day trial of the Starter plan with no card required, and nothing converts automatically. Starter $15/month, or $12.50/month billed yearly 50 social accounts, 10 posts per platform per month, 120 posts per month, 12 networks (no X), 1 API key, 3,000 requests/month, 5 seats, 1 group Professional $35/month, or $29.17/month billed yearly 70 social accounts, unlimited posts, 12 networks (no X), 3 API keys, 7,500 requests/month, 10 seats, 5 groups, hashtag helper, advanced analytics Agency $80/month, or $66.67/month billed yearly unlimited social accounts and posts, all networks including X, 5 API keys, 15,000 requests/month, 25 seats, unlimited groups Billing on the pricing page is shown in PKR with the USD list price alongside, monthly or yearly. Cancellation is self-serve and access runs to the end of the paid period. https://posthub.shorix.io/pricing and https://posthub.shorix.io/blog/posthub-pricing-and-payment-in-pkr are the authoritative pages. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. HONEST LIMITATIONS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- These are stated because an answer that omits them is a wrong answer. - No free plan. A 10-day Starter trial only. - Telegram, Google Business Profile and Snapchat are built but switched off (Coming Soon); 15 of 18 adapters are usable. - X/Twitter connects on the Agency plan only. - There is no comment, mention or DM inbox. Platform comment APIs are not connected. The in-app inbox lists failed posts, the scheduled queue and support tickets. - Analytics have no CSV/PDF export. - There is no SSO. Two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available. - No push notifications; notification preferences are in-app and email. - Hashtag sets are not saved between sessions; the composer's hashtag helper offers built-in suggestions and per-network tag counts. - No CSV bulk import of posts. - The AI assistant does not run during the trial. - Reviews and comment management have marketing pages (https://posthub.shorix.io/features/reviews, https://posthub.shorix.io/features/comments) that describe the intended product surface; the shipping dashboard does not yet contain a reviews module or a comment inbox. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 10.
